The Standing Stone Brewery in Ashland is a casual brewpub that serves very good food. Located in the heart of town, the brewery brews several types of beer and I highly recommend getting their sampler, a tasting of seven of their beers. Unlike some brewpubs that offer samplers, the Standing Stone labels their brews so you know which one you're sampling. Food is good and hearty and leans toward the casual side: salads, sandwiches and pizzas, although they serve other, more involved, dishes such as salmon. Bottoms up!

Ashland: GREAT LODGING IN ASHLAND

The Ashland Springs Hotel in Ashland is very classy without being snooty. Located in the heart of Ashland, the Hotel was built in 1925 and still retains a lot of its old charm. Within walking distance of Lithia Park, the Shakespeare Festival and restaurants. Highly recommended.
