• The Ocean Lodge: Escape!

  We just had three wonderful days at The Ocean Lodge. This hotel is located directly on the beach and we were fortunate enough to have access to the beach directly from our room. We asked for a pet friendly room so that we could bring our 1 1/2 year old dog with us and all that was available was an accessible room. We took it and found that the room was actually very functional and that it was very well outfitted for any guest. Sometimes hotels change the look and feel of a room completely when dealing with accessibility and that is simply not the case at The Ocean Lodge. They did a very nice job with this room and I have stayed in other rooms at this property and this one is as nice as the rest! The dog loved the beach, the owners loved the access and the views from the room! Service was very good, Troy and Eva at the Front Desk took good care of us. The lodge is a the perfect place for some R&R. It has a DVD player in each room and a large selection of free DVD's to check out from reception. Also, the property offers free WiFi for those who must have access! There are plenty of restaurants and bars close by to the Lodge.

• Bill's Tavern and Brewhouse: On a cold day at the beach-find Beervana!

  I found Bill's Tavern to be a warm spot on a cold day! If you like a warm atmosphere with lots of light, cool people hanging around the bar and tables with a roaring fire, music and micro-brews, you'll enjoy Bill's. I had the Chli Cheesburger with fries and an IPA! Perfect for a cold day! This is a great place to kick-back and relax!
