PDX Airport

PDX airport is modern, easy to use, light & airy, and generally hassle-free. Security processing is usually easy, too. There's even light rail connecting to downtown and beyond. Portland and PDX are smart!

The myth about the rain

Contrary to popular belief and perception, it rains less in Portland and the Willamette Valley on an annual basis than in New York City or Washington, D.C. With statistics aside, the rain in Oregon is more spread out than in the East (i.e., more grey drizzle rather than sudden, torrential downpours). It's great for the complexion and for the brain!

Plan accordingly and get over it! Enjoy!

PDX ROCKS!

Portland is an amazing city. I am from Seattle, and much prefer Portlands perks than Seattles stress any day.

Likes: Public transportation!!! Brew Pubs. Happy Hours. The River. Small Neighborhoods. Shopping. Markets. Bike Friendliness.

Dislikes: ... hipsters that don't follow traffic laws... thats about it.
