Body Vox Rocks

Just saw Body Vox last night, October 22, for their Encore performance at the Newmark. What an absolute treasure Portland has in this group. Totally entertaining, funny and beautful. Thanks to Body Vox my son, while in high school, started liking contemporary dance. He went with me last night (now college) and still loves them! Don't miss them--only on til October 25 and then you'll have to catch their next performance.

For this show their fans got to vote, on line, for their favorite acts over the years and then they set the program with all the winners.

most enjoyable choral music

Oregon Repertory Singers really gives a great concert experience. The music is varied, the group sings as one even though they are 60. Lots of energy and enthusiasm by Gil Seely the conductor as well as the singers. They've been around for 35 years and still fresh.
