Just Gorgeous

Elslobby_small

This facility is amazing! If you get a chance to go to this historic theater please don't pass it up. Whatever the reason you attend an event there will be enhanced by the beauty of this 1926 Tudor Gothic theater. The 3.2 million dollar renovation project was completed in October, 2004. I attended a conference event there and I can't tell you how the beauty of the theater really made the night feel extraordinarily special. What an evening.

Historic Elsinore Theatre

View_from_elsinore_stage_small

Among the most notable historic buildings in Salem is the Tudor Gothic Elsinore Theater. Built in 1926 and named for a castle in a Shakespearean play, the Elsinore’s “Return to Grandeur” project has revamped everything from stained glass windows to wiring, lighting, and sound systems. Pretend you’re a star, stand on the stage, and admire the restoration results during a behind-the-scenes tour. It’s a real standing ovation when the tour guide plays the Wurlitzer organ just for you!
