Avery Park is a great place to go, and the Corvallis Rose Garden is my favorite part of the entire park. So many different types and colors of roses available to see...perfect for photographers! It's a wonderful place to go just to meditate or relax. There's several small paths throughout the place where one can litterally "stop and smell the roses" along the way. If you contact the city, you can even rent the Rose Garden for special events like weddings. Very accessible to bicyclists.

This garden under tall fir trees is a great place to visit all summer long. Just a short distance from downtown, you'll feel refreshed after a visit here.
