Albany Historic Districts

Albany has four historic districts on the National Register of Historic Places, including the 1849 Monteith House, said to be the most authentically restored Pioneer Era home in Oregon.



Stop at the Visitors Center for a free tour map. Also, on Saturday, July 31, 2004 many historic homes in Albany, Oregon’s Nationally Registered Historic Districts will be open for visitors during the 27th Annual Tour of Historic Homes.



The tour will feature several historic homes and gardens, the Whitespires Church, the United Presbyterian Church, the Albany Regional Museum and the Monteith House Museum.
