Lots of Outdoor fun at Hagg Lake + Scoggins Valley Park

So much you can do at Hagg Lake. Starting with mountain biking. There's a 15 mile single track that loops around the lake. It’s not for the faint-of-heart as it’s pretty rough in places and the berry brambles jump at every chance to tangle you up, but it’s great fun for adventurous folks. There is a great 18-hole disc golf course. It winds in and out of the trees and fields arond the lake. It's a challenging course and is great fun.

If you like to fish, the lake is one of hot spots. Boating of all kinds can be enjoyed here too.
Watch for various race competitions like triathlons at Henry Hagg Lake.

Stub Stewart has almost 15 miles of new trails, including a paved section of the 21-mile Banks-Vernonia State Trail. My favorite at Stub is the Hare’s Canyon trail, which you can combine with some smaller trails and the Banks-Vernonia to make a great loop ride.
