A bit of heaven on Division Street. A community gathering place in a cozy early-20th-Century house. A full selection of New Old Lompoc beers on tap. Hearty pub fare: sandwiches, salads, appetizers and great macaroni and cheese. Plus a great patio in the summer and enclosed and heated deck in the winter. Portland's Pittsburgh Steelers headquarters.
The Hedge House has a relaxed atmosphere, and delcious New Old Lompoc beers (which can be dry for my taste, but wonderfully refreshing on warm days). In addition, their sandwhich and salad selection is varied with many fresh ingredients. I am partial to the mufflatta, which is an olive mix on a french roll. One must, however, be prepared to flag down service if you are at all hungry when you arrive.

So many breweries lack in the food department, or are just simply mediocre. Hedge House has the best of both worlds AND a great establishment. Try the Hedge House salad (delicious and full of beets!). Great outdoor seating. I love this place. And good happy hour all day on Tuesdays.
