McMenamins Oregon City
The McMenamins brothers were among those fearless entrepreneurs who, in 1985, led the movement in Oregon to allow brewers the right to brew and consume in the same location. After a victorious fight at the state capitol, McMenamins opened the Hillsdale Brewery & Public House, Oregons first legal brewpub since Prohibition. Since then, Portland has become one of the premier destinations in the U.S. to enjoy handcrafted microbrews, including those of McMenamins Pubs & Breweries.

A Favorite Place
I've been here several times. The burgers are great. Excellent pub fare and a little more. Good selection of drinks, my favorite is the old fashioned apple cider. Love the atmosphere and unique artwork.
