McMenamins currently has 15 breweries in Oregon, each year collectively producing more than 200 different recipes. Since our first brew at Portlands Hillsdale Brewery & Public House in 1985, McMenamins has handcrafted more than 20,000 different batches of beer. In 2005 alone, we brewed over 41,000 kegs of beer an astounding 5.1 million pints of Terminator, Sunflower IPA, Ruby Ale, Hammerhead and more!
Kurt Elling, a Portland favorite and former Blue Note artist, in this unique collaboration will cap the 2009 Portland Jazz Festival. In his latest project, Elling has created an adventurous tribute to the 1963 classic recording of Johnny Hartman and John Coltrane, long regarded as a true ‘jazz essential.’
