Great Visitor Information Center in Hood River
Be sure to stop by the Hood River County Visitor Information Center to get a Fruit Loop map and talk with the staff about all that's going on along the Fruit Loop during the time of your visit. They are very friendly and knowledgeable and they have a huge 3D topographic map showing the lay of the land for about a 50 mile radius of Hood River.
The Hood River County Chamber of Commerce runs the Center, and they also have a very informative website at http://www.HoodRiver.org.
