Located at the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge. B & B, winery, brewery. Originally built in 1911 as the county poor farm. Artwork and beautiful gardens. On the National Register of Historic Places.

Simply the Best Experience -- Every Time!
We have been going to McMenamins Edgefield for many years and have had unique, wonderful experiences EVERY TIME.
The Northwest cuisine in the Black Rabbit restaurant, the pub and outside restaurant is delicious. McMenamins grows grapes on the property and makes their own wine. They also brew their own beer. A walk around the property is beautiful and peaceful. The Garden is like another world -- totally beautiful. The live bands are incredible
The Glashaus allows one to see the actual creation of glass artwork, and to buy one-of-a-kind glass art for home and as unique gifts.
The Hotel is filled with original, creative and beautiful artwork. The artists change the murals often, so every time one walks inside one sees different marvelous creations. The room accomodations are "European Style" but with a Northwest flare.
Whether you live close to McMenamins Edgefield or will travel to the area, it is a destination that is worthwhile.

Exciting!
I have only been there so far to visit their bars. Fun place to go and drink and have a good time. Can walk around with your drinks on the property. Many many many bars, (like 7 i think). Totally fun atmosphere!

Cold fries and terrible service.
At every McMenamins I have ever been at when you sit outside you get terrible service.
Sit inside if you want a drink.
Only go if you dont care how long you will be there to eat.
