Combining a classic downtown rhythm with a contemporary beat, The Shops at the Old Mill District is truly one of the Pacific Northwest's most distinctive and dynamic mixed-use developments. Located on 270 acres that formerly housed one of the largest sawmill operations in the world, the Old Mill District offers a rich history along with jaw-dropping mountain views and scenic river vistas. It’s no wonder locals and visitors alike call this Bend’s most unique shopping, dining, living, and working experience.
My mom, sister and I were staying in Sunriver for a "girl's getaway". We spent a day in Bend and it was wonderful! The Old Mill District is a very unique destination with great stores. The mall is outdoor, instead of indoor like typical malls and winds on the banks of the Deschutes River.
We had lunch at Red Robin (with a window overlooking the river), watched a movie at the Regal theatre and shopped without having to move our car. :) I found great deals at the White House - Black Market shop...they have the cutest clothes at reasonable prices. I will be stopping here every time I venture through Bend. Looking forward to visiting again!
