bend best bachelor

I got the opportunity to go out to Mt Bachelor this year for skiing and had a blast. The weather was perfect! I spent the entire day on the moutnian with my friends. We all thought it was so cool how the moutnain is a volcano and there are geothermical hot spots where stream was coming up from spots on the ground. Plus you can ski all the way around the mountain from the summit. I live in park city but this moutnain was so unique and there was so much terrain.... I suggest any one who skis needs to ski Mt Bachelor, especially in the spring. I am so coming back next season!

Mt Bachelor

Beginning at 5:30am each day the ski conditions are reported and updated frequently on a phone message recorder. The number is 541-382-7888. A great way to find out what snow fell overnight and current temp and conditions. I have friends that will call the report and jam to Bend for a day of skiing when the report is deep new powder and cold clear. There is a webcam on the Mt B website but in the winter it is dark until later in the am. www.mtbachelor.com
