Great view and affordable hotel

I've never spent any time in Roseburg other than driving through it to get somewhere else, to be honest I never really thought much of it. Then a couple months ago i had a business meeting there and found out I never knew just what a beautiful area it is. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and I was happily surprised to find a balcony with an amazing view of the river.

in the morning I sat out there with my coffee and watched the fog roll in over the river and it was stunning. The rooms were clean and very nice as was the staff. I don't know what their usual rate is, but our conference rate was only $89 and worth so much more.

The next day I stopped by their visitor center which is gorgeous and I picked up more information, its definitely on my short list to go back and see more of the area.
