The Mark Spencer Hotel
I'd recommend the Mark Spencer Hotel to those traveling to Portland seeking out a comfy hotel, not a cookie-cutter chain. While it technically is a hotel, it gave us the feeling of apartment living. The rooms were very well appointed: full size refrigerator, stove, oven, nice linens, great mattress. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only disappointment was arriving and finding the roof top garden undergoing renovation. Can't wait to come back and see what they've done!
