Want Fresh Tracks? Go This Weekend!

Hot off the presses, after a dismal weather-start to those of us who love winter rec! Now we have fresh snow AND clearing skies. Timberline is in full operation and syas they are
"encouraged by the weather forecast for this coming weekend." After recieveing 8 inches of fresh snow overnight on Wednesday and into Thursday morning. Forecasters are saying this will be a much dryer and beautiful weekend (Jan 9 etc!). We're looking at a 109 inch base of snow and the slopes are groomed.

Landmark Must see

Step back in time to the depression era, when we were just getting access to the wilderness, and the gov wanted to help folks do that & get jobs. Result? Incredible craftsmanship, must see. So charming! And the food & wine is incredible, what a surprise! MUST eat here, should stay here. I did miss some of the modern amenitites, but no complaints; I'd rather have the authentic deal!

Great airs on terrain park....

Timberline has got 2 great terrain parks. I spent all my time on the beginner/intermediate park on the right of the slope and had a blast (i'm new to terrain parks). Great jumps, easy landings, no blind turns. Fun mountain to hit the parks on.
