Great Family resort

Stayed for the first time here in June during the remodel but I was impressed by the number of kid/family activities that they offered like private campfire and marshmallow roasts on the beach or craft activities for some down time at the resort. Usually I stay at the other end of the beach but enjoyed this location and the sights and tidal pools and scenic rock vistas were easily accessed and the beach was quieter on this end.

Bathtubs rule!

Fully upgraded room. Mine had flat screen TVs, tasteful modern decor and a fabulous bathroom outfitted with glass rainshower, stylish walnut vanity, and granite throughout. The bathtub was amazing: sized for two, with a sliding screen that allows you privacy, or slide it open up to take in the ocean view as you soak. The property is right on the beach near haystack rock, and they offer campfire kits so you can watch the sunset, roast marshmallows and let the surf sing you to sleep. Romantic enough for a couple's escape but also very kid (and pet) friendly. I would love to bring my family here for an extended vacation.
