Quiet and comfortable
Inn at Cannon Beach is easy to reach, has spacey rooms and is just a block from the beach (you leisurely walk there in less than 5 minutes). All rooms look on a nice court which is well kept with flowers, bushes and trees. Try to get a room on the upper level (1st floor); you have more privacy there, you can sit on your own balcony and - if you are lucky - you can have a glimpse to the glittering sea. They offer a generous continental breakfast.

Good choice
This is an excellent choice if you plan to stay on the Northern Oregon coast, especially if you travel with kids. All rooms have a gas fireplace, fridge and TV/VCR and free wi-fi internet. Breakfast is served in the art gallery of the hotel and includes waffles, fruit, muffins, cereal, juices etc.
The hotel is not directly on the beach but you can walk there in 2 minutes. We stayed after the Hood-to-Coast race and had four people sharing a room. There was enough space for everyone, staff was uncomplicated and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
