Nice place with friendly staff

We had a nice balcony room with a lovely view of the ocean. The gas fireplace was a good thing too - being on the 3rd floor we felt safe leaving the slider door open so we could hear the ocean at night; the fireplace kept the room toasty warm for the evening. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I liked that the shower/commode are separate from the sink/mirror. Easier getting ready in the morning - no competing for the bathroom. They have a nice breakfast in the morning - yogurt, pastries (the lemon scones were wonderful!), hard boiled eggs, toast, juice, great coffee, etc. At least one day of your stay you need to be sure to be present for the 5:00 PM salmon chowder. It's yummy! (It might be seasonal though so don't be mad if you get there and no chowder.) Cap your evening with an 8:00 PM fresh baked cookie.
Downside: the double queen room was a little cramped. I would have appreciated a little more "walking around" room (we had 3 adults in the room).
