Portland is Niketown and while the thousands of employees who work in closeby Beaverton at the headquarters can by Nike products at the employee store, you can save by buying your Nike gear at the outlet store in Northeast. The selection is not as big as in the "official" Niketown flagship store in downtown and they do not have the very latest clothes and shoes but you will 30% to 50% less than in a retail store. If you go to the store by public transportation try to be done with shopping before the sun sets as the neighborhood is not the greatest.
