Team Spirit

Go to a Timbers or Beavers game on Thirsty Thursday for 2 dollar beers. Then, the only thing you have to splurge on is the food!

The Timbers is a must see!

The Timbers brings to the table talent and excitement. It was the first time I had ever watched a professional soccer game state side and compared to the European teams they're right up there. The only disappointment was the fact that PGE Park charges way too much for beer but if you just go for the game and one it's really not too bad. Actually, it's fantastic!

PGE Park

PGE Park is a great place to watch local football, soccer, and baseball games. It's clean, almost every seat has a good view, and although the consessions are a bit spendy, there are certainly more expensive ways to spend an afternoon with friends and family.

One of the neatest aspects of the park is the manual score board -- no Jumbotron, just real people moving placards around. Pretty cool.

It's open air, so bring a jacket to evening games!
