I usually am a mild fan of fudge. Yes, it's good, often nutty, and super, super sweet. But that's the problem; most of the time, it's TOO sweet, and I get tired of not being able to taste the chocolate.
The live fudge at Blossoming Lotus is made of only 4 ingredients:
Coconut butter, pure cocoa powder, agave juice, and a little walnut dust on top. And it is a fudge that I could eat again and again, all day long, forever. (yes, that good.) It's creamier than the creamiest classical fudge, super sweet without added refined sugar, and very strong in chocolate.
And somewhat, it makes me feel like I've eaten healthy (??) Maybe if I had stopped at one...

My friends who scoff at my vegetarianism and love for live food love it here! You've never had baked tofu like this. Careful for the bowls... it's a lot of food and kinda bland. The dinning area is small so if you're planning on going be prepared to wait. It's also connected to a yoga place so watch out for very calm, but sweaty people in workout clothes and sans shoes/socks.

For my budget a 8 dollar lunch is pricey, so let's get that out of the way. But past that it's great, very healthy vegan fare that is always tasty. The soups are amazing and the vegan soft serve is untouchable. So, so good. It's always busy, so expect to wait a bit...and if you have friends that are looking for veggie burgers and a Coke, try somewhere else. This is for the kelp and raw food crowd.
