People who wonder where Seattle tech-executives go when the stock of their company hits a new all-time high probably imagine a place like this: a stylish restaurant on a pier on the waterfront with a spectacular view of all that makes Seattle so special: the Space Needle, downtown and the Bay with ferries going by. Come in summer for dinner and you can enjoy the sunset on the terrace with a fantastic glass of wine. Seafood anyone? If not, maybe choose a different place (although the $60 steak could be an alternative). But most guests come for the Alaskan Halibut or the Yukon River King Salmon. For a side dish go with the Lobster Mashed Potatoes (a steep $24 - but how often are you in a restaurant that offers this kind of combination?).
While the food is not cheap it must be said that it was worth the money, even more as the service was exceptional. And so was the view from the terrace ....
