Try the fondue at happy hour (3-6 pm) for around $4, and beat the dinner rush. The cheeseburger is good too, but c'mon, the fondue is so good!
Also, I have to commend the excellent service I/we always get at the bar, the better than average wait for local restaurants, and the privacy of booths.

If you have a craving for German food, head to Gustav's pub. The long menu offers any Schnitzel variation you can think of as well as other German traditional food. Vegetarians might have to settle for a salad. Don't miss the a cheese fondue as an appetizer.
I like Gustav's better than the more upscale sister restaurant Rhinelander which is next door. We might have had a lucky day when we ate here last but the waiter we had was one of the most best I have ever experienced.
