Excellent

The excellent service, delicious prime meats and extensive wine list makes Ringside the BEST steakhouse in Portland.

You also can't beat their happy hour. $3 Steak bites? Yummmmm!

A Fine Steak House

This is our family's "go-to" place for celebratory dinners. It is expensive but excellent, with super food AND service.
Note: It is NOT "downtown", in fact it is within two blocks of the "Uptown" shopping center.
Valet parking in a neighborhood with otherwise difficult parking.

Keywords: Dress up, Expensive (US$ 21 - US$ 35), Steakhouse / Meat, Bar, Restaurant, Fireplace, With a group, Dinner, American, With business partners, As a couple, Eating late

The Ringside

Ringside seems to be in a little bit random location right on busy Burnside Street. But once you step inside you will find a really nice, old-fashioned steak-house with a fireplace and waiters who wear bow-ties. Steaks are fantanstic - but not cheap. House specials are 50 dollars and more but you can also find meat plates for 30 dollars. If steak is not your thing, stick with the fish and stay clear of the chicken. Come before 5:45pm or after 9pam and you can order happy-hour specials which are basically several main dishes that come with a free appetizer.
