From 5:00pm - 7:00pm weekdays, Mama Mia's has some of the best Italian food and ambiance in town at a price point of only $3.00 per dish! Really! Dripping in old world ambience with nearly 100 gilded mirrors,
20 chandeliers, red velvet, gold gilding, fancy white tablecloths, and romantic candlelight, it's interior won't disappoint. Plus, it's very centrally located for further exploring the area after you stuff yourself with their plentiful, pasta-ful traditional Italian specialties. Their lasagna-of-the-day is a sure bet. Sit at the bar!
Also, Mother's next door is owned by the same people and is good to duck into for dessert or another drink, and/or to experience saloon-style old Portland style. Mother's also has a popular weekend brunch.

This is a great family place, they have great beer which is brew in the back of the restaurant. this a local place for locals. they have great burgers, fish and chips, great crab bisk, onion rings and much more. is a very relax place to go with kids if you have any, if not is a great place to go sit outside when the weather is nice and have some beer. I recomend the syskiyu. It is also located in a great area to walk around after dinner, you can go shopping in the small butique shops.

Is the best pizza in town hands down, noting comes close to the pizza at apizza Scholls here in Portland. I know because being from New York I have experienced some of the best and I can tell you that apizza Scholls pizza puts a lot of New yorks pizzerias to chame. The place is small, is open from Wed-Sun from 5pm until the dough runs out. they pizza is thin and the crust is crispy, the sauce is better than grandmas, the service is not that great but they don't have to be it just adds more flavor to the pizza and the experience. It makes me feel like I am back home. The also have great antipast, authentic dry meats and marinated artichokes, olives and red peppers. If you want to go make sure you get there around 4:30pm so you get in line early.
