Some people don't like seafood for breakfast, but I do, and if you do too, check out Besaw's! My favorite plates are the salmon scramble and salmon eggs benedict! To die for. There's always a long wait for breakfast on the weekends, so be prepare for that. At least there's free coffee while you wait. The wait is worth it though. Once you get seated (btw there's outdoor seating available - great for summer days), the service is always quick and friendly. MMM... craving that salmon eggs benedict right now...
I've never been there for the bar, but I see that they have a full bar available. They also have some yummy pastries for dessert.

I love Sunday morning brunch and this is the best place in the Northwest area to do just that. Make sure you plan ahead though since they don't take reservations and there is always a wait. You can usually get immediate service at the bar/counter though and it's always the best choice when you are alone. My favorite are the eggs with NW salmon and creme cheese scramble. Very yummy. Service is always prompt once you are seated and they will provide coffee while you wait. They also service lunch and dinner at other times but I prefer their breakfast service.

A little cafe with salads, burgers, sandwiches and other entrees. But the best time to come is for breakfast or brunch. It is so popular that you have to expect a wait on weekends.
Besides great food Besaw's has an interesting history. The Cafe was opened in 1903 and did well until the prohibition came in 1916 (which was not so good for business). After the prohibition Besaw's was granted the first liqour license in the state of Oregon and business took off again. The mahagony bar is still the same from the opening in 1903 and a seems to be a good place to drink (for example to the end of the prohibition).
