American interpretations of authentic European beer styles. Traditional pub fare for lunch and dinner.
I love the Gasthaus. The chef there is wonderful, and everything I have ever tried there has been delicious. Be sure to try the Ruben and the 5 Berry Cobbler. Service is fast and great, and you always get to sample the beer of the moment. Try it, you will love it.

Next, cross the Willamette River via one of Portland's 12 bridges to arrive at Widmer Brothers Brewing. Since introducing America's first Hefeweizen in 1986, Widmer's flagship cloudy brew has become the standard by which unfiltered wheat beers are judged.

I always have the best time at Widmers! I went to college nearby and it was always a favorite. They have an outstanding Monday night happy hour. The beer is always fabulous and the cheese fondue is out of this world. Great burgers, salads, sausages and sandwiches....everyone is always happy to go there. Great service and fun location next to the brewery. Widmers will be a favorite location for years to come!
