Ranked Best in the World

5th Ave Suites Hotel was just rated on Travel & Leisure's "World's Best 500 Hotels" list for 2007 and also listed by Condé Nast Traveler on Gold List of "World's Best 700 Hotels."

Hotel will be unveiling itself as Hotel Monaco - Portland on March 8, 2007!

5th Avenue Suites - Monaco

The 5th Avenue Suites is one of my favorite hotels in Portland. I have never consistently received absolutely amazing customer service. In Feb or March the hotel will change to a Monaco which is also a Kimpton Group hotel. They welcome dogs with treats.

Beautiful, historic property!

Great hotel located near all the happenings of downtown. Walking distance to Nordstrom and Pioneer Place. Very close to the MAX Light Rail and bus mall - just a quick trip to NW 23rd/Nob Hill and the hip Pearl District. On-site Aveda spa for any services you may need. Very relaxing. On-site restaurant - Red Star - is delicious.

I'm a fan of this hotel. Have stayed quite a few times. Rooms are very elegant, yet cozy. I've heard the hotel is being turned into a Hotel Monaco, which should be great. I'm sure it will have the same charm!
