Hilton Portland & Executive Tower
With almost 800 rooms the Hilton is the largest hotel in Oregon. The hotel does not feel that big, probably because it consists of two buildings: the original Hilton and a newer Hilton Executive Tower which is half a block away (so know which one you are staying in!). The rooms have recently been renovated but the best thing about the hotel is the location right in downtown, one block from Pioneer Square. A public parking garage is right next to the executive tower, overnight rates are $18. A cheaper SmartPark garage is 2 blocks away. In the mail building is a really nice health club which costs $10 for hotel guests (free if you are a Hilton status member) and offers not only workout machines but also a pool, jacuzzi, steam room and massages (for a fee). On the 11th floor of the Executive Tower is also a fitness center. It is much smaller, by far not as nice but free for all hotel guests.

Hilton Portland & Executive Tower
In arranging a meeting at the Hilton it was nice and easy to work with them but their conference rooms are somewhat limited. While they have a broad variety of different ones for me it was difficult to find the proper one I had imagined.

Great location close to Pioneer Square. Try to get a room in the new Executive Tower, rooms are much better than in the old building across the street.
