Mediterranean seafood grill and wine bar featuring wood fired cooking and wines from around the world.
Southpark is an exceptional restaurant located in the beautiful, quiet Southpark Blocks of Portland near the Portland Art Museum and the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. It's a great place to have a glass of wine, appetizer or dinner before a concert or after a trip to the museum. The bartenders are actually professional sommeliers who will guide you to the right wine selection. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and very Northwest. I recommend sipping Sangria from their new Happy Hour menu while sitting outside on their patio and people watching. The butternut squash ravioli is also highly recommended.

...although it's also perfect for couples or groups. In business since the first wave of local restuarants of the 90's, and still outstanding. Seafood is fresh, drinks are strong, servers are top notch. Also great for al fresco in the Summer.

I ate here after a long transcontinental flight with my now fiancee. Excellent food, great wine - not a bad value - and memorable atmosphere.
