Best of Portland

Paley's Place is at the top of a delightfully long list of Portland restaurants focusing on fresh, local, organic ingredients. The restaurant occupies a converted Victorian home in Portland's Northwest quadrant and eating there feels like being invited into Vitaly & Kimberly Paley's private dining room. The menu focuses primarily on Northwest cuisine, with Italian/French influences. Every beautiful plate features melt-in-your mouth morsels (of gathered greens, Kobe beef tartare, razor clams, dry-aged ribeye, etc.) that made a very short trip from local/regional farms to Paley's kitchen. Linger and savor.

With corporate chains and noisy mega-restaurants dominating the American dining scene, Paley's Place in Portland, Oregon, is a refreshing change. Paley's Place

Back in town, enjoy dinner at one of the great establishments in northwest Portland. The challenge will be int he choosing. Paley's Place, on Northwest 23rd, is a pioneer of the local food movement.
