Day Trips into the Neighborhoods

Easiest way to spend a day, or at least a half day is to choose one of the many Portland neighborhoods and simply walk, watch, have a coffee and wait...there's always something going on.

NW 23rd Avenue, Hawthorne Avenue, NW 21st, Belmont, Woodstock...Travel Portland would have a list of many more.

Funky shops, great food, interesting people (We Do Things Different Here! Keep Portland Wierd! - that give you a sense of what to see?) and Portland blocks are small to you can cover a lot of terrritory in a short time.
