Camping options include RV sites with hook-ups, tent sites, or rent a rustic or deluxe cabin (includes kitchen and bath). Nice restrooms and showers close to rustic cabins. Within the state park is the "Big Tree" which is the largest Ponderosa Pine in the state and recognized as an Oregon Heritage Tree: 500 years old, 162 fet tall, 8.6 feet in diameter. Lots of hiking trails and fishing, too, and don't forget your camera because of an especially nice viewpoint of a horeshoe bend in the Upper Deschutes River.
LaPine State Park is located off US 97, 27 miles SW of Bend.
15800 State Recreation Rd., La Pine, OR 97739
