Cleaned up, gussied up, and improved in every way, Virgil's is a great addition to Pendleton. It is often hard to improve on the original, but the new owner here has definitely succeeded. I've only been once and enjoyed everything, but I hear from everyone who goes that they have a great experience, so I don't think it was a fluke. Will definitely return.

Cimmiyotti’s was almost as much a Pendleton icon as is the famous Round-Up and when it was closed it was a sad day for all. Well now it has reopened under a slightly different name in honor of the current owners uncle. Some thinks that haven’t changed are it’s iconic booths and red velvet wallpaper! Our service was excellent. They immediately offered to take our drink orders and then quickly brought us warm bread and a small crudités. My hubby enjoyed the bread while I loved the fresh veggies. I ordered the shrimp skewers and they were delicious and plentiful. I noticed sweet potato fries on the appetizer menu and asked if I could substitute my choice of baked potato etc. for the fries and was graciously told I could do anything I wanted. Great service indeed! My plate also included more veggies and they were deliciously prepared, done without being mushy. So I would say visit an icon with a few new twists and enjoy.
