We had breakfast this morning at the Columbian Cafe. I'll admit, I was a little skeptical, as the place is so tiny. But, it was packed so I knew there must be a good reason for that. We sat up at the counter where we could watch the chef cook. I ordered a Lox, Scallion, Caper and Cream Cheese Scramble which was served over 'lace potatoes.' This was so fantastically delicious. We were also served some toast and a variety of jalapeno jellies. It was a treat to have something that was both spicy and sweet on a piece of toast.
I'll be back for sure, next time maybe for a crepe.
