Ideal location for family getaway!!!
We stayed at Shorepine Village for a family get together and found the staff, location and especially amenities to be outstanding!! The location was perfect; with private beach access and short walk to the Pelican Pub very convenient. I highly recommend families with young children to check this company out. The village is quiet and the trails throughout are great for children to ride bikes and easy to lug all of the kids stuff to the beach. Our whole family had a terrific time!!
The best tip I could give would be to call the office and ask about the amenities provided in the home you have reserved. We found that we could have packed a lot less. The house had a well stocked kitchen, all soaps were provided, there were bikes to borrow, and even beach toys in the house we stayed in.

Do not stay here- horrible customer service
3 months in advance, we booked our 3 night stay with Shorepine Vacation Rentals. 1 week before our stay we receive a call from Shorepine Vacation rentals telling us they double booked us, and that we needed to find another place to stay. They had 2 houses left to choose from, niether of which were even close to the standards of the home we had reserved. WIth that, we asked to cancel our reservation, as we were not about to pay the same amount for our stay and be forced into a nasty house. When we said we wanted to cancel, Shorepine Vacation Rentals told us we could not cancel as they do not allow cancelations with such short notice!!! Outrageous- after fighting with managers, etc. we were able to cancel, and once we did, found out they deducted a cancelation fee! Again, had to fight with management to get the fee credited. Not only did we have to scramble 1 week from our vacation to find a new home in the prime season, but Shorepine Vacation Rentals did not appologize, nor offer any sort of compensation for THEIR neglegence.
Do not stay here.
