Foodie Find: Pack a picnic of artisan sandwiches

Or_bounty_orange_small

Savor delicious Italian recipes that reflect family traditions. Experience fresh pasta, cut on demand, homemade focaccia (we suggest the roasted garlic), and ravioli made with a special pasta that lets the fillings shine through. Fillings range from traditional pumpkin, spinach, cheese and mushroom, to specialties like salmon, chicken-artichoke heart, and Italian beef. Homemade sauces include traditional marinara and tomato basil, spicy puttanesca, romescu, and artichoke and Merot.

Holly's Fun Foodie Day in Lake Oswego

Walk down onto State Street—maybe watch a train go by with the kids. Then let them run in the fountains overlooking the lake.

Make our way down State Street to Port City Pasta. Pick up Southwest Turkey Sandwich on homemade foccacia—DELICIOUS—chunks of caramelized garlic in the bread and a slightly spicy spread. The caprese sandwich is also a favorite. They’ll do plain sandwiches for the kids. Don’t forget the fresh baked toffee cookies!
