We grabbed an early dinner last night at Porcelli's in John's Landing. Neither us had been before and we were eager to try something new. As we walked in, I remarked that it smelled fantastic - and that if the smell of the food cooking was any indication of the taste that we were in for a treat.
I had the Veal Picatta, which came with asparagus and roasted red potatoes. The veal was cooked perfectly and they were not stingy with the capers! My boyfriend had the risotto with peas, sausage and mushrooms which was light and fluffy.
Our waiter was super attentive - and it did appear that he was the only waiter in the place. He did a great job of taking care of us, as well as the other diners.
I was impressed, and we'll for sure be back!
