A Sweet Thing to Do

For French baking at its best, take the time to stop at Sweet Life Patisserie in Eugene, OR. I was recently there and for a moment got lost in the buttery goodness of their delicious pastries and desserts. The variety is astounding, as their cases are filled to the top with chocolate desserts, éclairs, petite fours, fruit pies, tiramisu, mousse torts and cheesecakes. I was impressed that all of their baked goods use the finest ingredients and are made from “scratch”. No mixes allowed. Your biggest problem is going to be trying to decide what to choose. And, they offer goodies with no dairy, eggs or animal products so everyone can indulge. Stop by during the week as it can be crowded on weekends.
