This is a new restaurant in Salem. My husband and I travel to Oregon on a regular basis to see family, and we stopped in to this place to see what the buzz was about. Very cute place in an old house that has been fixed up and is very comfortable, yet clean, modern, warm, and inviting. I don't usually write reviews, but this place's food was AMAZING, and since they rely on "Word of Mouth" advertising (as their name says) I feel that I need to share with others. I got the Creme Brulee French toast (melts in your mouth) and my husband got the Corned Beef Hash. He said hands down it was the best Corned Beef dish he had ever had - and he's tried it many places. My french toast was really like having creme' brulee (they do the carmelized sugar topping on top), but just the right amount of richness for breakfast. Yummy!!! The staff was friendly and efficient - and I wish we could have tried lunch, but we never got a chance before we had to leave town. Oh yeah, and they do serve breakfast all day - so that is another plus. The owner said they are getting a liquor license soon, and will then be open for dinner. All I can say is that I wish they would open one in SD - you salemites are lucky to have such a scrumptious restaurant! Get down there and try it before they get too popular and you aren't able to get a seat... I can see that happening.
