Great fro Breakfast & Brunch

Although Novak's is great for lunch and dinner, you have to go for Breakfast and their Sunday Brunch.

My hubby likes the Eggs Florentine with some of Papa's homemade summer sausage. My daughter's eyes popped when she saw the smoked pork loin she's ordered with her eggs. My favorite is the Low Carb Breakfast - it's a scramble with sautéed bell peppers, onions and tomatoes and chunks of Papa's summer sausage. It's served with fruit... but I'll admit I have it with one of their delicious homemade biscuits.

Brunch on Sunday is a real treat. The buffet may look small, but it's packed with 20+ delicious items they are constantly refilling. Quiche, sausages, chicken paprikás, beef pörkölt, cabbage rolls, specialty salads, homemade rolls and bread, pastries, desserts and more. We've been a couple times and took a group of 19 for Father's Day and it was perfect!

Novak's Hungarian Restaurant, Inc

A wonderful, locally-owned, family restaurant with outstanding frinedly service. Many days you will be greeted by "Mama Papa Novak", who are delightful to kno and started the restaurant over 25 years ago. Authentic Hungarian recipes, created by Mama are used to delight guests.Try the Kolbaz sausage and red cabbage or the excellent cabbage roll. Desserts........extensive, decadent............plan to die!

Novak's is a great place

My wife and I ate here with some friends recently. What great food! My wife had pork medallions in "Oregonzola butter." Just bring me a dish of that sauce! It was wonderful - but so is everything they serve.

If you are fortunate enough to be there when "Papa" Joseph or "Mama" Mathilda are greeting guest you are in for a treat. They make you feel like long lost family. For many years this has been a destination of it own right here in Albany, Oregon.
