A ten-year dream became reality for Annette Marie and Christian Joly in November 2008 with the opening of Chez Joly at 135 NW Broadway and Davis. Chez Joly, designed with the warmth and ambiance of a 1920’s Paris Bistro, shares its location with some of Portland’s most exciting boutique’s and art galleries in the historic Desoto Building. The French cuisine for Breakfast, lunch and dinner is simple, elegant and affordable. The Joly family, with 19 years experience in restaurant fine food preparation, specialty catering, and providing food service for private jets, consists of Annette Marie, Christian, and son’s Andreas and Damien Joly, work together in creating the special food and Parisian ambiance that is Chez Joly.
