The Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire is an anuall event held in Corvallis that is located roughly 15 miles outside of the city. there are hundreds of artisans stalls that help to bring the feel of Medieval times to life. Actors address Fair goers as they did in the 1500's to help recreate that old English feel. This is also the only fair of tis kind held in Oregon, and helps to be both fun, and a wonderful educational opportunity to view a piece of history. After all, who doesn't fantasize about eating like king Henry with a large leg of mutton and plate full of grapes. check out the website for prices, hours, and further list a more extensive list of events.
