Vinaiolo an excellent tip
We had to celebrate a special anniversary and went to Vinaiolo. We had the 5-course- special (56,00€) - and it was excellent - exactly what we had imagined for our special day. The wine the very attentive and friendly servant recommended - a fruity but dry white wine - was superb. We felt very well and were very content with this evening when we left the restaurant after three hilarious hours.

Italiano ottimo
We think - no, we are sure! - this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Munich. Excellent food and remarcable good wines!
The menu keeps within reasonable limits, but there was always enough choice for everyone's liking. The service is very attentive, always friendly and gives reliable advice.
The price range is upper middle class (lunch menu starting from 20,00€, bottle of wine about 35,00€)
The room is not big, so you sit a bit tightly (that is the only "minus" we can report). Book in advance!! (especially for weekend dinners).
It is difficult to find a parking lot in Haidhausen, so better leave your car at home and reach "Vinaiolo" by S-Bahn (Rosenheimer Platz), U5 (Max-Weber-Platz) or tram (15,25).
If you like Italian cuisine you'll like "Vinaiolo", we are sure.
