Cafe Reese aims to please !

I was lucky enough to stumble into this cafe by accident one night as I was walking down NW23 trying to find a place which offered free wi-fi. Cafe Reese offers that and more !

Welcome to a classy, chic coffeeshop cum restaurant cum winebar conveniently located on NW23 just a stone's throw away from where the Portland Streetcar drops off people.

First off, excellent decor. Plush chairs, comfy couches and elegant tables add a good bit of class which sets this apart from your average espresso bar.

The place caters to winelovers by housing special local spirits. Coffee brewed here is from Cafeto Coffee Company (Eugene) while happy hour selections are definitely a bargain !

Now lets get to those delicious paninis ! You HAVE to try the ginger-mango chutney based panini . I forget its name since they have named all paninis after Portland's many bridges. Is it the Sellwood?Marquam?Ah who cares, just ask for the mango chutney thingy and their friendly staff will know just what you want !

This place is large and spacious. Classy yet relaxed. Feel free to dress up or dress down. Take your laptop and spend hours enjoying their free wifi or sipping their many beverages. A very welcome addition to the bevy of restaurants in Nob Hill !
