And I fell in love with pizzas all over again

Pizza night? Not for me, thank you. Or at least that's what I used to answer my hubby each time he proposed it; until I discovered Dove Vivi. Now, it's pizza night once a week. Twice if I really can't wait.

Located next to Pambiche, at the intersection of NE 28th & Glisan, Dove Vivi serves deep-dish, cormeal-crust pizzas with local, seasonal toppings. And it's amazing.
The restaurant opened in July 2007 and is, to me, the best (still) kept secret in town. Pizzas can be enjoyed on site (there's a small sit-down area, really cozy; only negative thing to say is that the service is sometimes a little slow -- but that makes you enjoy the pizza even more!). You can also buy a slice to go, or a whole pie to bake at home.
The slices are filled on demand, so it's always fresh and can be customized.

My recommendation: the veggie, with cashew-ricotta-cheese added. You'll dream about it for days.
