I have visited Tryon Creek State Park many times and have enjoyed my time there each visit. I love the variety of trails and the different scenery that you experience with each trail. When you get into the park it feels like you are in a rural nature setting out of the city, which is why I enjoy spending time at this park. This past spring I did the Guided Hikes a couple of times that take place on Saturday mornings and found them to be very educational and would be an excellent learning experience for children. The only think I don't like about Tryon Creek State Park is the limited parking, which can be a problem on nice days when many people visit the park.
